Glogster Explanation

The main theme that I chose for my glogster was darkness. All the quotes, pictures and the video are connected to the main theme. First off I thought the design of the wall paper was a great representation of the darkness throughout the novel, Lord of the Flies. The picture of the pig basically sums up the darkness of the hunter kids. They disrespect the corps of the pig by putting it's head on the tip of the stick, not only is this act a dark one but it's borderline evil. The other picture that I got was of the boys dancing around the fire after catching and killing the pig witch shows the dark personalities within the children when they celebrate after killing something. The quote above that just gives you a dark feeling when you read it knowing thats exactly how they feel about the pig. Also, I thought the video clip that is there has an amazing sense of darkness. The kids chanting and making fun of Piggy like that is horrible and rolling a rock off the cliff and killing him is absolutely astonishing. I would of never thought that just because there was no adult supervision that kids could get that out of hand and become such dark, evil children.
